From Cairns to the Tablelands & Kuranda, Port Douglas, Cape Tribulation & the Daintree River Cruise this tour ensures you see the best that Cairns and its surrounds have to offer.
Travelling to your destination with the option of either the innovative Tilt Train or the more traditional Sunlander Train with sleeping berths to ensure a relaxing start to your tour.

Itinerary
Cairns, Cape Trib & Daintree
Day 1 Departure
Depart for your journey on either the Cairns Tilt Train or Sunlander in comfort.
Day 2 Cairns welcome arrival & Night Markets (D)
Arrive in Cairns and transfer to Cairns Queenslander Resort which is located in the City. Enjoy dinner this evening and for those that feel like a stroll our tour host will escort you to the night markets.
Day 3 Taste of Tablelands & Kuranda Skyrail (B,MT,L,D)
Breakfast then depart by coach to the tablelands. The first stop is Lake Barrine for Devonshire Tea, then travel onward to view the curtain Fig Tree. We will then travel through the town of Yungaburra and stop for an early lunch at Gallo Dairy Farm. Next we visit Atherton and Mareeba, stopping at Jaques Coffee Plantation. We then travel to Kuranda and take the Skyrail back to the base station to be met by coach and transfer to our Hotel for a 2 course dinner this evening.
Day 4 Port Douglas, Mossman Gorge, Daintree River Cruise, Cape Tribulation Day Tour (B,MT,L,AT,D)
Breakfast then depart for a picturesque drive up the coast to Port Douglas. We then depart for Mossman Gorge and the Daintree River for morning tea and a boat cruise. We then travel to Cape Tribulation. This is also where we will enjoy lunch today. We will then visit the Daintree Discovery Centre and learn about this beautiful rainforest. We will then go back across the river by vehicular cable ferry return to Cairns in time for dinner.
Day 5 Gorgeous Green Island (B, L, D)
Breakfast, then group will be collected by bus and taken to the Cairns Reef Terminal. We will travel by large stable catamaran to the beautiful Green Island. Whilst on the Island we will enjoy a buffet lunch and a glass bottom boat tour. For those of you that wish to get your feet wet you can snorkel off the Island amongst the beautiful reef fish and coral. We will return this afternoon in time for a 2 course dinner this evening.
Day 6 Habitat Cruise the Trinity Inlet (B, MT,L, D)
Breakfast, then today enjoy a scenic calm water cruise up the Trinity Inlet. Excellent commentary while on board, take in the sights and learn about local flora, fauna, culture and history. Return to Cairns via coach while viewing the outer city sights and mountain scenery. Lunch today at hotel. Free time this afternoon to relax or wander into town and explore the mall. Two course dinner this evening.
Day 7 Depart Cairns (B)
After breakfast this morning, the group will depart to meet the train today.
Day 8 Arrive Home
Today you will arrive at your home station after enjoying a charming rail journey from North Queensland with your new found friends.
